Cafe´ Life ©1999 M. Gray
When the settlers arrived in America, they left few traditions behind . . .

One auspicious omission was not bringing Cafe Life . . .

totally changing the way people inter-react and exchange information

socially compared to Europe, where there are places

to meet daily locally throughout.

This lifestyle seemed to stop at New York,

creating a divisionary society . . . and problems to boot!

In this song, I explain Cafe Life and how it functions in a

relaxed and reliable way, giving a place for a united,

informative environment . . . supporting and sustaining the people . .

encouraging integration both inside and out . . .

individually and collectively. . . .

I recorded this track in London with French producer / musician Harve´.

Our project "Le Production" had about five tracks. He did

great Arabic rhythms, because he came from Southern France,

near Northern Africa. We made a great team and I look forward

to working with him again.
